Bob's Biased Building Blog: Intro

Updated: Jan 22

To many B's? lol, I don't care.

If you're reading this, congratulations! You're a master at finding top-notch content for your next home project. I've been proudly serving Corey’s Construction for a solid decade, diving into hundreds of unique projects. Boiling my job down? Well, I get paid to answer questions. Simple, right?

This blog series aims to shed light on common questions, scenarios, and situations that can make a world of difference for our average client.

Now, who's this Bob Bechtel guy, and why should his opinion matter?

Honestly, it doesn't matter. What matters is your opinion. I'm just a guy in the business of building houses, and I'm not alone. There are plenty of folks earning their living in this field. I like checking out what other builders are up to and tweaking it to fit my style.

My style? Simple. I'm a simple man who appreciates simple things. Building a home shouldn't be as complex as some make it out to be. It's about making good mistakes, not bad ones. Good mistakes happen once; bad ones, well, you don't want those. Through this blog series, my hope is that you'll discover building a home is easier than you think.

Now, let's talk about why I'm biased.

Modular Homes Are the Best. Period.

Yep, that's my bias. We started as a custom stick-builder, experimenting with various vendors, materials, contractors, and brands. As I weigh the pros and cons of different home-building methods, modular construction consistently stands out. The efficiencies in modular construction lead to not just a home but a valuable one, ensuring a delightful building experience for the homeowner.

Keep an eye out for my next biased opinion titled "Modular Homes: All Pros, No Cons." Spoiler alert: I'm pretty excited about it!
