From your first meeting with Corey’s Construction to the Use & Occupancy of your new home, our team takes care of everything for you. That means you don’t have to worry about dealing with applying for permits or negotiating loan details – the experts at Corey’s Construction will make building your new modular home one of the easiest things you’ve ever done!

First Meeting

During this first step, we want to get to know you. Our professionals will help you find the right floor plan. They will learn all about your dream home and direct you to options that are right for you. Corey’s Construction can provide pricing on many popular options, as well as refer you to multiple resources.

Check out our Facebook page for past houses or attend a “Set Date” to see a house put up in a day. Take advantage of any opportunities to see why Corey should be your builder.

Builder Responsibilities​

  • Provide TurnKey Pricing on any of our existing modular floor plans

  • Provide an available schedule to tour any of our models or current projects

Home Owner Responsibilities

  • Define project goals and the budget

  • A registered Plat of the land

  • A pre-approval letter from their preferred lender

Preliminary Commitment

You’ve done your shopping and taken advantage of the opportunities Corey’s Construction has to offer. Now what? 

 

Now that you’ve decided that Corey’s Construction is the Builder for you let us welcome you to the start of your dream home!

​This step marks the beginning of making your house a home! A $2,500 retainer gets you a reserved schedule, custom floor plans, and access to your very own project management software program

Builder Responsibilities​

  • Schedule a Selection meeting to review the details of your custom home. 

  • Create a BuilderTrend account for you to participate in the construction process

  • Conduct a preliminary site visit and provided information about the building site. 

Home Owner Responsibilities

  • Sign & return any State & County Paperwork

  • Open a Work Order with your local Electric company

  • Get a list of required documents from your lender.

The Fine Details

During this step, Corey’s Construction will customize your selected floor plan with the options you want while staying within your directed budget.

For many people, this is an exciting time because it is when you can see the vision for your new home starting to come together. We suggest making a detailed list of everything that is of primary importance to you in the completion of your home.

Your priorities are our priorities, and we will work to adhere to your budget.

Builder Responsibilities​

  • Obtain the first draft of plans from the modular manufacture

  • Provide estimates and scope of work for any unique options

  • Create final contract & budget

  • Send all necessary documentation to your lender

  • Outreach to local jurisdictions to meet permit requirements

Home Owner Responsibilities

  • Customize your floor plan

  • Work with your lender through their loan process

  • Approve Final Contract & Budget

  • Provide a Well Completion Report or Public Water Approval letter

  • Provide a septic design or Public Sewer Approval Letter
